Saturday, April 6th 2024
The Rosedale Ride is an annual bike ride that supports the wonderful programs at the Rosedale School in Austin, TX. Every year hundreds of cyclists across Central Texas gather to ride together to raise money for the students at the Rosedale School. This well organized ride is celebrating it's 30th anniversary this year! Choose between the 20, 40 and 60 mile ride which starts off at the Pitch in North Austin. You will be supported by flaggers all along the route, leading you in the right direction. Multiple Sag vehicles are provided to keep riders safe, and are just a text or phone call away. After the ride grab some food and drink at the Pitch and enjoy hanging out with your bike community! Not into riding yourself? We have a kids ride perfect for beginning and intermediate riders! Register today!
About Us
In 1994, a Rosedale Parent had an idea. He wanted to help his child’s school by harnessing his love of cycling. The first Rosedale Ride wound through Central Austin ending at the Rosedale School. After the ride, many of the riders mingled for the first time with parents and students. A bond was formed. Several were so moved by the community spirit and inspiration of the Rosedale kids that they vowed to help year after year. Their goal: empower this special school to fully meet the needs of students with disabilities. Out of that admiration, the Rosedale Foundation was born.

Rosedale School
The Rosedale School is a unique campus in AISD that serves students with disabilities who require intensive support services. The school's well-experienced educators meet each student where they are, providing individualized support and instruction for all students. The Rosedale campus is a state of the art, accessible facility designed specifically to meet the diverse needs of our students. The Rosedale School offers a caring, family-focused community that supports students’ unique learning needs in a positive environment. Through Rosedale's tailored educational opportunities and quality instruction, students increase their independence, improve their self-esteem and experience a greater quality of life. Students who are 18 to 21 years old can apply to participate in the TLC or GO Project which are community-based, transition programs to move from the high-school setting to a college or work environment. Our students, staff, families and community partners with the support of the Rosedale Foundation create a wonderful supportive environment where everyone can thrive.
